Rag & Bone, Vuarnet Link on Eyewear
Rag & Bone has linked with French eyewear company Vuarnet on special, cobranded designs.
The collection of four sunglass designs apply Rag & Bone color theory to Vuarnet’s signature styles, such as the Glacier and Legend 02.
Produced with mineral glass lenses, Vuarnet says the glasses offer 100 percent protection from UV rays and infrared and blue light.
They are produced in France, in Vuarnet’s factory outside Paris. Glasses will sell from $225 to $600, beginning next month at Rag & Bone stores and Vuarnet retail partners.
“It’s been really exciting to work with a brand that has such an epic story. We reinterpreted their classics in colorways that embody the Rag & Bone man and woman. Nothing overly elaborate — just cool styles that anyone can wear. The collaboration speaks to a mutual dedication to craftsmanship,” said Rag & Bone chief executive officer, founder and creative director Marcus Wainwright.
“I am personally a great fan of Rag & Bone, a brand I discovered by chance years back in New York City, in its early stages. Such a collaboration is really a great opportunity for Vuarnet to establish and share our philosophy in the balance of excellence and cool,” said Vuarnet ceo Lionel Giraud.
